Social previews & metadata

Edit your sharing details

1. 1Step 1: Open Customize → Profile.
2. 2Step 2: Scroll to Search & sharing.
3. 3Step 3: Set Browser tab title, up to 60 characters.
4. 4Step 4: Set Social preview description, up to 160 characters.
5. 5Step 5: Select Save Changes and check the preview in the editor.

Find both fields under Search & sharing in Customize → Profile.

Leaving fields blank

The editor shows fallback text for your title and description. Leave a field empty if you want to use its default instead of custom text. These settings change your sharing details; your visible display name and bio are edited separately.

Why a shared preview can look outdated

Discord, messaging apps, and other services can cache a link preview. A saved change on ritsu may not immediately replace the preview attached to an older message.

First check your saved settings and public page. Then try sharing the link in a new message. If the platform keeps the old preview, its cache may need time to refresh.
