Profile & cursor effects

Find your effects

Open Customize → Decoration. The page groups effects by where they appear, so you can build a style without changing the rest of your content.

• Name animation changes how your display name looks or moves.
• Bio animation controls how your bio appears.
• Card animation adds moving light or an animated backdrop to your profile card.
• Background effect adds ambient particles or weather behind your card.
• Cursor trail follows a visitor's mouse.

Apply or remove an effect

1. 1Step 1: Choose an option from the setting you want to change.
2. 2Step 2: Use the preview to check how it fits with your text and background.
3. 3Step 3: Select Save Changes, then open My page to see the live result.
4. 4Step 4: To remove an effect, choose None for that setting and save again.

Background effects and cursor trails have separate selectors.

Check the experience on different devices

Cursor trails depend on a mouse pointer, so do not expect the same behavior on a phone. Moving backgrounds and text can also feel different on a smaller screen.

If the page feels busy or slow, reduce the number of active effects and try a smaller background image. Keep your name, bio, and links easy to read.
